Now then! Good to see you're still afloat, just writing to let you guys know we are going to be in the Gambia in January, and probably in Banjul or near the coast towards the end of the month for a few days, and it suddenly occured that you might be knocking around that area.... let me know if you are - be grand to catch up over a light G&T or two...! Hi All, Katharine - I've only been doing HLS for a few months now but I'm beginning to see why you left the country without a trace! You should see the state of Debs! Looks amazing. Keep the updates coming. Nick |

Hi Dave and Katherine, Hope Lista light is cruising well and finding those trade winds. We missed your jolly selves at cider drinking/making. Barry and Laura took part in your honour. 40 gallons made- plenty drunk! We look forward to following your journey. All love, Danny and Anne |

I tell you this so you are adequately warned of what this occassionally polite young man is capable of. But I tell you this also as in spite of everything the boy is one the best friends I'll ever have and would like him back in one piece at some point if that's ok. Lots of love to all aboard and look forward to hearing all about the latest adventures soon. Bestest of best wishes Dave Pearce |

Hiya Am unbelievably jealous of all the photos and tales on the site. What you are doing is really inspiring and sounds like an incredible experience. I feel I have a moral obligation to speak to you truthfully about Able(ish) Seaman Antell. I have known Dan for many years, and in that time he has broken or lost almost everything I have ever owned. Every time I have ever sailed with Dan he has deliberately capsized the and done his best to sail off leaving all crew members behind. |

| The first step before alcohol rehabilitation can begin is the person must realize they have a drinking problem and have the desire to change their lifestyle. Going to an alcohol rehabilitation center will not cure a person from drinking. A matter of fact, it is just a waste of time for the person going into rehab, a waste of money paying for the treatment, and of course a waste of time for the people helping with treatment, if the person is not ready to change the way they live. |

Ahh Hello there... Hope all is good on board the good ship Lista. Sure you have heard now you are an uncle again, to wee Max Lowrie (we are choosing godparentage wisely this time after Georges went AWOL...) George still talks about his trip to Balamory on uncle david and aunty kaths boat with no front door, no kitchen and no tv. I told him you're pikeys and smell bad. Which is largely true. take care, love Ross, Vicky, George & Max. p.s. we're gonna get backyard chooks! |

Hi Dan - hope you're well - glad to see the violin finally made it. It's Sam's birthday party on Saturday - do you want come - or would you rather just muck about on a lovely boat in wonderful places doing marvellous things? Okay maybe next time. Best wishes to all of you - cheers Chris. |
